Theresa Mielich has been a freelance scenographer and costume designer in theatre and film since 2014. She sells her fashion and textile art under the label Panta Rhei. She studied fashion design in Berlin and London. After graduating in 2009, she designed several stage collections for bands. In her work, she places particular emphasis on sustainability and eco-fair materials. In the 2010/12 season, she created numerous costume designs for Schauspiel Dortmund, e.g. for the plays Stadt ohne Geld (directed by kainkollektiv, sputnic), while she was also permanently employed there as a costume assistant. At the stage in Cologne she worked as a costume assistant from the 2012/13 season and later as production manager of the costume department. She regularly develops costume designs for the director Catharina Fillers (e.g. at the Theater in the Bauturm Cologne, Grenzlandtheater Aachen, Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen) and the director Thorsten Bihegue (Theater Aachen, Schauspiel Dortmund, Junges Schauspielhaus Bochum). Together with Ruby Behrmann, Katharina Becklas and Liliane Koch, she works in the collective BKM- Performance with "Experts of Life" and creates site-specific performances. Her freelance work has taken her to the Aachen Theatre, Grenzlandtheater Aachen, Ballhaus Ost Berlin, Junges Schauspielhaus Bochum, Dortmund Theatre, Favoritenfestival Dortmund, Theater im Depot Dortmund, Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Mousonturm Frankfurt, Staatsoper Hannover, Schauspiel Köln, Theater in the Bauturm Köln, Sommerblutfestival Köln, Schauspiel Leipzig, Bayer Kultur Leverkusen and Theater der Künste Zürich.
