Murali Perumal, born in Bonn in 1978, studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and has since acted in 71 television and cinema films in 5 countries, including Aufschneider, the French cinema production Eden is west of the Oscar winner Costa Gavras and the American series Counterpart. He has also performed at various German theatres such as Münchner Kammerspiele, Schauspiel Köln and Schaubühne Berlin. For several years he has been a diversity ambassador for more diversity and equal participation of Germans with a visible migration background in culture, in the media and against exclusion. He can be seen at the Schauspielhaus Bochum in the 2018/2019 season in the production Lehrer*innen.
