Wicki Bernhardt was born in 1984 in Karlsburg (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) and works as a freelance performer, director, dramaturg, and instructor. She is a founding member of the performance duo PINSKER+BERNHARDT, with which she tours nationwide and internationally.
Wicki Bernhardt studied music and movement at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and Dance, as well as the master's program in Applied Theater Studies at Justus Liebig University Giessen. For her performance in family creatures, she was awarded the FAUST Theater Prize, together with Janna Pinsker, in the category of performers in theater for young audiences.
