Kristina Koropecki is from Canada, where she completed her musical studies with a Master’s degree in Performance at McGill University in Montreal. There she met Mark Bérubé and joined his solo project, with which she also toured Europe. She has lived in Berlin since 2014 and initially pursued her own musical path. Among other things, she plays in Agnes Obel’s live band. In 2018, she founded the duo project Kliffs with Mark Bérubé, with whom she has been invited to perform at many renowned festivals, such as Paleo (Nyon, CH), Printemps de Bourges (France) and Stuttgart Open (Stuttgart, DE). The duo Kliffs released their first album, Temporary Cures, in November 2019. Kristina Koropecki also works as a musician in theatre, including at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus in The Five Lives of Irmgard Keun (directed by Mina Salehpour).
