Friedrich Greiling is a composer, lyricist, producer, performer, singer and songwriter working in theatre, pop, club music and film. He composes music for the stage and develops sound installations for artists and collectives including Turbo Pascal, Interrobang, Futur2Konjunktiv and Tanja Krone. In participatory theatre and music projects, he works with young people and adults to collectively develop and perform music.
Greiling is a member of the Berlin-based theatre and performance collective Turbo Pascal and has contributed to productions including Völkerwanderung, Die Welt in uns, Gala Global, Unterscheidet euch! and Verkehrte Welt. Unterscheidet euch! received the Ikarus Prize in 2019 and was invited to festivals including the Impulse Theater Festival and the Ruhrtriennale.
As a musician, Greiling is the frontman of the Berlin band Mittekill and the country rock band Die Bäume and produces electronic music under the name FreeDaRich. He also develops music workshops for people with intellectual disabilities. In the 2026/2027 season, Friedrich Greiling composes the music for Lügenparty by Turbo Pascal and Drama Control at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
