Paul Eisenach, born in East Berlin in 1986, is a musician, composer and producer. He has worked freelance in Berlin since 2007. He earned a diploma in sound engineering at the University of Film and Television Potsdam-Babelsberg and subsequently worked in various recording studios in Berlin.

Under artist names including Paul Eisen and NÖRD, he has produced music for various labels and collaborated with numerous musicians and directors. He has toured as a support act for The Killers, Imagine Dragons and Bosse, among others. His filmography and discography include work for production companies, record labels, broadcasters and streaming services such as Netflix, Warner Bros. and ARTE, for which he has received several awards and nominations.

For the theatre, Eisenach has composed music for productions including Brasch – Das Alte geht nicht und das Neue auch nicht and East Side Story – A German Jewsical at Berlin’s Maxim Gorki Theater. In the 2026/2027 season, he develops the music for Rentierbaby at Schauspielhaus Bochum together with Wenzel Krah and Felix Kuhnt.
