Tom Gatza studied composition at the University of the Arts in Arnhem. As a pianist, composer and producer, he works across jazz, pop and electronic music. For theatre and dance productions, he develops and performs music for the stage, including at Thalia Theater Hamburg, Kampnagel Hamburg, Münchner Kammerspiele, Bühnen Bern and Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. Anleitung ein anderer zu werden (directed by Chiara Liotine) and Das Kraftwerk (directed by Aram Tafreshian) were both invited to the Radikal Jung festival.

Gatza also composes and produces for artists including Jan Plewka and Henny Herz. As a live musician, he has performed on Late Night Berlin as well as with Lùisa and Brockhoff. With his solo project, he has appeared at NDR, Fusion Festival, c/o pop and the Elbphilharmonie.
