Johanna Schönwald, born in 2000 in St.Georges, Grenada, has been studying acting at the Folkwang UdK since 2020. Despite her Lower Bavarian roots, she grew up in Salzburg, Austria. There she gained her first theatre experience at the Landestheater Salzburg, as well as at the Schauspielhaus Salzburg. She also appeared at the Kleines Theater Salzburg in 2013 in the play Blackbird, directed by Markus Steinwender. Since the beginning of her studies, she has performed in A Midsummer Night's Dream in July 2022 in the Weitmarer Schlosspark, as well as in the movement project Vieni via con me in October 2022 in the Christ-König Church in Bochum, which was developed in Italy.
