Anna Bauer completed the Eventim Pop Course at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in pop singing and songwriting, where she founded her band Clarence and Napoleon. Since 2012 she has been composing, singing and playing the piano for various theatre productions, including at the Thalia Theater, the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen and the Schauspielhaus Zürich. In 2018 she completed her master's degree in film music composition at the National Film and Television School in London. Her work has been shown at the Sheffield Doc Festival, London Short Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival and Chicago International Film Festival. She has produced film and TV music for the BBC, BAFTA, Channel4, BBC Denmark and UNHCR. In the 2018/19 season she composed the music for the production Was glänzt at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
