Leonhard Meier was born in Berlin in 1995 and grew up in Duisburg. From 2015 to 2019 he studied acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Bochum. During his studies he made guest appearances at the Rottstr. 5 Theater in Bochum, at the Theater Wuppertal and at the Al-Kasaba Theater in Ramallah, Palestine. His thesis Tote gehen nicht ins Kino was invited to the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen. He can be seen at the Schauspielhaus Bochum in the 2018/2019 season in Liliane Brakema's production of Leonce and Lena.
