Kim Ramona Ranalter, born in Munich in 1981, is a theatre maker, music producer, electronic musician and DJ* under the name Kim_Twiddle. In interdisciplinary projects combining live electronic performance, stage music and sound design, Ranalter brings together people, music, technology and art. After two years of stage training at IMAL Musiktheater in Munich, Ranalter worked there until 2013 as assistant musical director and lecturer in arrangement, audio technology and studio technology.
For several years, her focus has been on analogue electronic composition and sound design for theatre and dance productions, multimedia installations, club nights and festival formats. She has worked with the Munich Volkstheater, the Munich Kammerspiele, Kampnagel, the Residenztheater and independent venues such as the schwere reiter and the HochX.
