Zaza Rusadze (born 1977 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a filmmaker and video artist. In 1996 he began studying directing at the HFF Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg; in 2007 he founded the production company Zazarfilm in Tbilisi. His debut feature A Fold in My Blanket opened the Berlinale’s Panorama section in 2013. From 2015 to 2017 he served on the selection committee of DOK Leipzig. In 2020 he won the 1st MuVi Award at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen for the music video Eurydike (Kreidler, co-directed with Andreas Reihse). In 2020–2021 he held a residency at the Tarabya Cultural Academy in Istanbul.
