Lisa Kreis has been working as a freelance scenographer since 2022. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts in Hildesheim and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Scenography at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences. In her work, she explores interactive and immersive stages across various formats. Among other things, she has developed a performative site-specific installation with the collective Atelier Attacke, urban interventions with the collective Unsexy Kunst, and the scenography for a solo performance by Nadja Sühnel. Since 2024, she has been working in a collective partnership with Theresa Mielich. Together, they designed sets and costumes for RuhrgebietsSpatzen, a production by Franz Marie Hoffmann, as well as the scenography for an exhibition at uzwei in the Dortmunder U. Their scenography work has taken them to venues including LOFFT – DAS THEATER Leipzig, Theaterhaus Jena, Theater im Depot, KJT Dortmund, Ringlokschuppen Ruhr and FFT Düsseldorf.
