Max Göran was born in 1987 and lives and works in Berlin. In 2019 he graduated as a master student in the class of Josephine Pryde at the Berlin University of the Arts. In his work he is mainly involved with video, installations and performance and frequently participates in contemporary dance and performance pieces. Together with the artist Josefin Arnell, he forms the duo HellFun, which deals with revenge and purity. His first solo exhibition was at Jenny's Gallery in Los Angeles in 2019 and his work has also been shown in several group exhibitions at galleries and institutions such as Palais de Tokyo, Paris; FLAM-Festival, Amsterdam; Kunsthaus M.I/mi1glissé, Berlin; Juliette Jongma Gallery, Amsterdam; European Media Art Festival, Osnabrück. In the 2019/20 season he can be seen in Florian Fischer's production Geister in Zeche Eins at the Schauspielhaus Bochum.
