Sebastian Wendelin, born 1982 in eastern Austria, has been performing on stages in German-speaking countries since the age of 4, mainly as an actor, but also as a musician and masker. For many years he was active in the independent scene in Vienna. In 2009 -2019 he was engaged by the Staatsschauspiel Dresden and the Staatstheater Stuttgart, where he worked with directors such as Armin Petras, Sebastian Baumgarten, Friederike Heller, Stefan Bachmann, Wolfgang Engel, Julia Hölscher, Simon Solberg and Roger Vontobel. Most recently he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Burgtheater Vienna, where he worked with Herbert Fritsch in the production Zelt. In 2008 he was awarded the Nestroy theatre prize as best up-and-coming actor.
