Jimmi Hueting

Jimmi Jo Hueting, born in 1991 in Nijmegen (Netherlands) studied jazz drums at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and at the prestigious Conservatoire National Superieure in Paris. After his bachelor in 2013, he continued his studies at Codarts University of the Arts Rotterdam, where he obtained his Master degree in 2015. With his graduation trio he won the renowned Erasmus Jazz Award. As a active freelance jazz drummer he cooperated with the New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra, the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, Jasper van 't Hof and Jasper Blom. Besides his work as an freelance artist, he is part of the bands Bonsai Panda, Bart Wirtz, the Dick de Graaf quartet, Clod!, 4B2M and Fast-D. Aside from these activities Jimmi leads his solo project called Jo Goes Hunting, where he  composes, plays all instruments and produces the albums himself. He is also the lead singer. The single Act Of Leaving, in his first album Come,Future in 2017 went worldwide viral on Spotify and furthermore he was proclaimed as  one of the talents of the 20s’ by Dutch national newspaper NRC.
