Andrijana Trpković was born in Belgrade, Serbia. During the wars in the 90s, she moved to the Czech Republic where she studied costume and set design at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, graduating with a Master's degree in scenography. Since graduating in 2014, she has assisted at Schauspielhaus Zurich (Parizek/Polivkova, Mundruczo/Agh), Theater Neumarkt and Volkstheater Vienna. Afterwards she worked on many theatre and film projects as a costume and set designer. With the director Lucie Ferenzová they founded their own women's theatre group Kolonie zs, which deals with current political, social and cultural issues. Together they developed One night stand/up! - a performance, a one-woman show and an authentic story about the Yugoslav wars, which Andrijana also wrote. The feature film Špina/Filthy (2017), in which Andrijana is involved as art director and production designer (directed by Tereza Nvotova, Slovakia), premiered at IFF Rotterdam and won 22 awards at festivals around the world, most recently the Best Film Award - Czech Film Reviews 2017.
