Jad Abbas, born in Damascus (Syria), trained as an actor at Theaterakademie Köln from 2020 to 2024, graduating with a diploma in acting. Previously, he attended Gymnasium Abd Al Raouf Saeed in Damascus and took acting classes at the Institute of Theatre Arts. Early theatre work took him to venues including Casamax Theater Köln, Theater Hagen, the Sommerblut Kulturfestival Köln and Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, where he appeared in Kriegsspiele (directed by Gernot Grünewald) in 2025. Further works include WEIT:NAH, Republik der Kinder, Burak oder Das rote Rauschen, Durch lila Nebel, Monster and Eine Odyssee. He has also appeared in graduation film projects and social-media spots, and in 2025 worked as a model at Berlin Fashion Week.
