Kate Strong was born in London. She completed a classical ballet education at the Royal Ballet School. First engagement as a dancer at the Ballett Zürich. From 1983 to 1994 Kate Strong was a dancer at the Frankfurt Ballet under William Forsythe. After working with Johann Kresnik at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin, she joined Frank Castorf's ensemble as an actress in 1996. Kate Strong has been a freelance actress since 2002 and has worked with numerous directors, choreographers and composers. She works closely with director Karin Henkel. With Ersan Mondtag's production of Tyrannis, as well as Karin Henkel's productions of Die Ratten and John Gabriel Borkman she was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen. In the season 2018/2019 she can be seen at Schauspielhaus Bochum in White People's Problems / The Evil Dead (directed by Benny Claessens).
