Sandro Tajouri, born in Bonn, is an actor and musician. From 2000 to 2004 he studied acting at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern. During his training he already had guest contracts at the Theater Basel and the Theater Dortmund. In 2004 he was a guest at the Salzburg Festival. From 2004 to 2008 he was a permanent ensemble member at Theater Basel and from 2009 to 2015 at Schauspiel Hannover. There he worked mainly with the directors Sebastian Nübling, Sybille Fabian, Werner Düggelin, Lars-Ole Walburg, Albrecht Hirche, Milan Peschel and Mina Salehpour. The production Dido & Aeneas by Sebastian Nübling with him and Sandra Hüller in the leading roles was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen in 2007. For the production Über Jungs (director: Mina Salehpour) at Grips Theater he was awarded the FAUST-Preis in 2014. He is a drummer in the bands A Boy Named River and The Dead Brothers. In the 2018/19 season he is on stage as a musician and actor with Sandra Hüller in Bilder deiner großen Liebe at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
