Diego Noguera, born in 1982 in Santiago de Chile, studied music composition aesthetics and theater in Santiago de Chile. He works as a composer, musician, actor and theater director based in Berlin. He has composed more than 40 pieces for theater, film and dance. In August 2015, he premiered his first piece of electronic music for orchestra at the Teatro Municipal in Santiago, a composition for a piece by choreographer José Vidal. In 2018, he signed with the label Pirotecnia Records and released his first album Soñe que iba a dormir bien. At the same time, he developed a live show that mixes experimental ambient music with rhythms reminiscent of techno music. Most recently, he performed at the festival Zuhören, curated by Sasha Waltz & Guests at Radialsystem, Berlin and at Emergenz, a live set for 101 dancers choreographed by José Vidal at Kampnagel, Hamburg. In 2020, he participated in the South by Southwest music festival and conference in Austin, Texas, and collaborated with Sasha Waltz and her company as part of the project Relevant Systems.
