Lara Katarina Suppe, born in 1992, trained as a bespoke tailor and studied costume design at Hochschule Hannover. Even before and during her studies, she gained experience as an intern and assistant at institutions including Oper Frankfurt, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Oper Graz and Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. From the 2022/2023 season until 2024/2025, she was a permanent costume assistant at Schauspielhaus Bochum, where she created her first independent costume designs. This was followed by work at Saarländisches Staatstheater, Theater Krefeld und Mönchengladbach and Volkstheater Rostock. Since 2025, Lara Katarina Suppe has been working as a freelance set and costume designer.
