Moritz Bossmann is a musician and composer. He plays electric guitar and writes for his band Käptn Peng & Die Tentakel von Delphi. In addition to two albums and numerous tours throughout Europe and Asia, he also writes music for films and plays. In 2015, together with Die Tentakeln von Delphi, he wrote the music for the play Der Auftrag by Heiner Müller in the production by Tom Kühnel and Jürgen Kuttner at the Staatstheater Hannover. Guest performances took the production to the Vienna Festival and to Minsk in Belarus, among other places. With the band he also wrote the soundtrack to Axel Ranisch's feature film AlkiAlki as well as the soundtrack to Marc-Uwe Kling's film Die Känguru-Verschwörung.

With his experimental rock band, Vögel die Erde essen (Birds Eat Earth), he has released three albums, played in probably every single alternative youth centre in Germany as well as opening for bands like Turbostaat and the Beatsteaks.

With the actress Sandra Hüller, the director Tom Schneider and the musician Sandro Tajouri, Moritz Bossmann runs the theatre collective FARN. He wrote the music for the plays Bilder deiner großen Liebe at the Neumarkt Theatre in Zurich and for Die Hydra at the Schauspielhaus Bochum. In 2021 the group produced the music theatre performance The Shape of trouble to come, which was shown in Leipzig, Bochum and Freiburg. Guest performances of the FARN. Productions took the group to the Volksbühne Berlin and the Theatre Festival of the German Language in Prague, among others. In 2017, they produced the music radio play Bilder deiner großen Liebe, which was honoured as Radio Play of the Year.

In his band Puzzles, Moritz Bossmann plays music influenced by Turkish psychedelic rock of the 60s together with jazz saxophonist Johannes Schleiermacher and pop producer Daniel Freitag. The band has released one EP so far.

With his bandmates from the Tentacles of Delphi, he runs the Kreismusik label, on which all of his albums are released. He studied jazz guitar in Weimar and Turkish music in Istanbul. Moritz Bossmann lives and works as a freelance musician in Berlin.
