Jeroen Versteele

Jeroen Versteele, born in 1980 in Louvain, Belgium, is a dramaturge working at the Berliner Festspiele. He worked as a culture journalist for the belgian newspaper De Morgen, and as a theatre dramaturge at NTGhent (2005-2010), Münchner Kammerspiele (2010-2015) and the Ruhrtriennale (2015-2017). He collaborated with directors and choreographers such as Johan Simons, Meg Stuart, Kristian Smeds, Susanne Kennedy, Luk Perceval, Tian Gebing, Martin Kušej and the actor's collective Wunderbaum. In the season 2018-2019 he writes the stage adaptation for Submission and he is the dramaturge for Hamlet, both directed by Johan Simons.
