Marina Galic, born 1977, studied acting at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich from 1994 to 1998. After her education she was engaged at the Zurich Schauspielhaus. From there she changed to the barrack of the Deutsches Theater and belonged to the ensemble of the Schaubühne Berlin. Besides she appeared as a guest at the Volksbühne Berlin, the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the Schauspiel Frankfurt. In 2003 she joined Dieter Dorn's ensemble at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel. Since 2009 she has been engaged at the Thalia Theater Hamburg. During these years she worked with the directors Peter Palitzsch, Thomas Ostermeier, Dieter Dorn, Karin Henkel, Dimiter Gotscheff, Herbert Fritsch, Luc Perceval, Leander Haußmann and others. She collaborates artisticly with Johan Simons since their work on Fountainhead at the Thalia Theater. She has been awarded the Kurt Meisel Prize and the Art Promotion Prize of the Free State of Bavaria. In the 2019/2020 season she can be seen at the Schauspielhaus Bochum in Karin Henkel's production Geschichten aus dem Wiener Wald.
