Íngrid Pons i Miras, born in Barcelona, studied music as a flutist and music teacher at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu. She gained years of experience in various orchestras and as a music teacher in Catalonia, Spain and Germany. She has lived permanently in Germany since 2012, where she studied fine arts at the Düsseldorf Art Academy under Johannes Schütz, Lena Newton and Karl-Heinz Petzinka as a master student. Her graduation work Cera 4_Sonification of a Sphere was accepted into the Academy Gallery. In her work, she combines her activities as a freelance artist for exhibitions and projects in public spaces with her work as a stage designer in the theatre. She gained her first experience with Tartare Noir by Karin Beier at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg.

At Schauspielhaus Bochum, she initially assisted in lighting design for Johan Simons' production of Hamlet before working with him as an assistant set designer on various productions at Schauspielhaus Bochum and Thalia Theatre. At Schauspielhaus Bochum she designed the sets for the productions Ton, Clyde and Bonnie and Club 27.
