Nadja Sofie Eller, born in Landshut in 1993, studied theatre studies and art history in Munich and stage design/scenic space in Berlin. Together with the theatre collective MARIA GYRLZ, she has realised several dance productions, among others at the Galerie Karin Wimmer Contemporary Art and at i-camp/neues theater münchen. In October 2016 she designed the stage design for the world premiere of Kopf Kunst Pflicht Baal at Theaterdiscounter Berlin (director: Benjamin Eggers) together with Ann-Christine Müller. In the 2017/2018 season she was assistant stage designer and costume designer at the Volksbühne Berlin. As a costume designer she worked for Calla Henkel and Max Pitegoff (Volksbühne Berlin/Grüner Salon) and designed the costumes for Yael Bartana's What if Women Ruled the World (Volksbühne Berlin). Between the 2018/2019 season and the 2019/2020 season she has been assistant stage designer at the Schauspielhaus Bochum.
