Anna Holtkamp, born in 1999 in the Ruhr region, studied costume design with Heide Maria Kastler-Eckmann at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts from 2019-2024. Even before starting her studies, she completed internships in the theatre sector, including at the Grillo-Theater Essen, Musiktheater im Revier and Schauspielhaus Bochum. During her studies, she designed costume designs for the HMTM Hannover, and since 2022 she has developed costume designs in collaboration with Sophia Deimel under the SONACO label for the HFMT Hamburg (Kasimir und Karoline (2023)), the Folkwang University of the Arts (Ein Sommernachtstraum (2022)) and for Alice in Wonderland in the Oval Office of Schauspielhaus Bochum. She also works as a freelance make-up artist and has been a costume design assistant at Schauspielhaus Bochum since the start of the 2024/2025 season.
