Linde Dercon

Linde Dercon, born in 1998 in Bilthoven (the Netherlands), studied theatre at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (ATKA). In her final year of study, she joined Theaterhaus Jena and graduated in September 2023.

Alongside her work as an actress, Dercon writes and develops her own theatre projects. At Theaterhaus Jena, she worked with Wunderbaum and Walter Bart, among others, on Die Hundekot-Attacke. The production was invited to the Berliner Theatertreffen in 2024, where Dercon and the collective of authors received the 3sat Prize for their collective authorship. In the 2024 critics’ poll conducted by Theater heute, she was named Emerging Actress of the Year and, together with the collective behind Die Hundekot-Attacke, was also named among the Emerging Playwrights of the Year.

During her time at Theaterhaus Jena, she developed the solo performance Wie mein Freund im Fernseher verschwand, which premiered in Jena in 2024 and was brought to Schauspielhaus Bochum in the 2025/2026 season. In 2026, Dercon also appears in Mareike Wegener’s feature film Paraphrase über den Fund eines Handschuhs.

Since the 2024/2025 season, Linde Dercon has been a permanent ensemble member at Schauspielhaus Bochum.
