
Romy Vreden, born in 1994 in Rotterdam, studied musical theatre from 2010 to 2014 and acting at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam from 2015 to 2019. Since 2021, she has appeared as Lena Preser in the ARD series WaPo Duisburg. With the music theatre group Orkater, she developed her own production Ruimteplaat in 2023 and performed in Groundfloor and Stepping Stones in 2024. In 2025, she appeared as Carol in the Dutch premiere of Alice Birch’s play Anatomy of a Suicide. That same year, the Dutch newspaper NRC named her a rising star of the theatre. From 2019 to 2023, she was a member of the ensemble at Schauspielhaus Bochum
