William Bartley Cooper, born in 1995 in Bad Tölz, completed a youth program at the Ballet Academy of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München from 2005 to 2011, and studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School from 2014 to 2018. His first guest engagements took him to the Residenztheater and the Münchner Kammerspiele, where he worked with directors such as Trajal Harrell, Ulrich Rasche, Mateja Koležnik, and Kevin Barz. In 2017, he was awarded the O.E. Hasse Prize by the Academy of Arts in Berlin. Since the 2018/2019 season, he was a member of the ensemble at Schauspielhaus Bochum. He is a member of the ensemble at Schauspiel Hannover.
