For pupils and students, trainees, FSJ and BFD  (all up to 29 years of age), disabled persons (from 80%) there are special reduced fees available.

Tickets, priced at 7,00 € for those eligible for a discount, are available at the box office for our regular performances from 30 minutes before the start of the performance, subject to availability.

Theatre Flatrate: free tickets for students

Students of Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB), Hochschule für Gesundheit (HSG), Evangelische Hochschule Rheinland-Westfalen-Lippe (EvH RWL), Hochschule Bochum (HS BO) and Uni Witten/Herdecke (UW/H) receive free tickets for our regular performances. This is an offer in cooperation with the respective AStAs.

And this is how it works:

The Schauspielhaus Bochum holds a fixed contingent of tickets for each performance for students of the RUB, the HSG, EvH RWL, HS BO and UW/H. These tickets can be booked from the start of advance sales. When booking in the webshop, the flat rate of the respective university must be selected for the discounts (RUB Flatrate, HSG Flatrate, EvH RWL Flatrate, HS BO Flatrate or UW/H Flatrate). When booking via the theater box office, please name the respective university or college.

We ask that you only book the tickets that you will actually use. If you have booked tickets and something comes up before the performance, please cancel the ticket(s) at the theater box office (+49 (0) 234 3333 5555 / tickets@schauspielhausbochum.de). Otherwise, this seat will remain free that evening and cannot be given to anyone else.

In the webshop, the flat rate discounts are available as long as tickets from the contingent are still available in the selected price category. If this is not the case, it is worth clicking on another price category. If the webshop contingent is exhausted, tickets may still be available by telephone from the theater box office. In addition to the above-mentioned contingent, further tickets are also available directly on the day of the performance at the box office, depending on availability. This is open from one hour before the performance begins.

For reservations to be deposited at the box office, tickets must be picked up no later than 30 minutes before the performance begins. Otherwise, they will go back on sale.

Please note that a valid student ID must be presented upon admission. Tickets are not transferable to other individuals. The theater flat rate allows you to attend all regular repertory performances in all venues, even multiple times. Excluded are premieres, guest performances and special events.
