Poetry Slam has filled cellar pubs as well as high culture temples and also the stage of legendary Schauspielhaus Bochum for many years. Texts are freed from the vigil coma between book covers and brought to life, filled with feeling and catapulted to the audience directly by the author on the microphone. At the Best of Poetry Slam the best slammers on the scene – who else? – appear on stage.
