Salamis

Stefan Hunstein is not only an actor, but also a visual artist and photographer. To coincide with his exhibition at Kunstmuseum Bochum, the Oval Office presents the video work Salamis, which takes its title from the place where the Persian forces suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the Greeks in 480 B.C. The installation shows adolescent and child refugees whose motionless faces reflect the history of the present day.
